Swapping PCM

I haven't purchased any software yet, but looking to try to mess with HP Tuners and I have a spare PCM from an 04 Envoy 4.2 to use in my 02 Envoy. I figure I would save my current file and also remove and store my original PCM in case I mess something up.

With the PCM from the 04, what would be the proper procedure to use this PCM with my 02? From what I gather is to install then perform a security and CASE relearn. Any other tips or tricks is greatly appreciated.

That's it. IIRC, that's all we did when I got my new tuned one from @Mooseman a few years ago.
