Soooo my mod bug really wants me to put an LED strips behind all the door panel speaker openings...... an LED strip sits perfectly on the raised section on the backside

The strips I have wrap 90%.of the way around, that's good enough for me. Probably gonna hold off on this mod though, no rush

Kinda over switchbacks anyways...I like them and dislike them at the same time.
Same here. I love the amber look on the TB headlight. Switchbacks got old for me. Thats unless you have a custom main and side marker LED setup. I thought it looked goofy since my side marker lens is still amber.

Dt-Autotech is the same seller I got all my 5630 LEDs from. $20 is not a bad price for those, you are frugal :raspberry: I picked my projector style up for $30. Ran them for less than a week.

Are these going in the TB or stang? I dis not like the projector lens on the main turn signal in my TB because the lens on the turn signal projected an amber circle on the lens of the headlight. My OCD kicked in and had to buy another set. My other ones are collecting dust in my drawer.

For the stang. Only reason I like them is because the turn signals and headlights are side by side.

Yes, I'm extremely frugal. :raspberry:

The projector styled ones don't leave a circle on the Mustang, I guess because the lens is slanted or maybe I just haven't noticed it.

Are the ones in the pictures the ones you have sitting around? You aren't to sell them here  I might buy them if the price is right.

And I also thought $20 was pretty good considering my switchbacks were $27 and don't have nearly that many chips. I can get them from the same seller with resistors for $21 and some change if I decide I wanna have an extra set of resistors. Last I looked, the resistors were $7 a pair so that'd be a good deal on them with the LEDs.

I figured there is better, but for money I thought they can go to another one of the fleet if I like and the truck can get a mod of a mod modded again.

Yeah there's nothing wrong with them. They're a dozen times better than the stock bulbs.

-dang you got them cheap! They were around $15 back when I got them from a US seller, now they're around $10 from the US.

I have not had stock since I owned it a couple months. I have some of the old like 20-some lil led thngs in there now and are far better than most reverse lights. Just cant stay satisfied.

Over the years I remember 100 watts burning up stock wiring from long use, but if you dont use brights that often or for extended periods...they may work for you.

Dude that JDM blue tint glass is tight yo

Can't say I'd expect all that much out of a pair of bulbs that are only 5 bucks, that claim to be "xenon HID" at that.

$30 HIDs aren't worth buying either... Just ask Capote, he did that and they're crap.

My $30 HID have been perfect for 5 years. They are definitely worth buying.

I've bought two sets. One for my car has been going almost a year with no hiccups and one for my brothers truck has been going since about September.

Don't hate bro, you might have had bad experiences with cheap stuff or heard of people having issues with it but I haven't had an issue.

Capote said he bought bulbs from the seller I use for everything but I'm shocked that he had a problem because I've bought multiple sets of bulbs (wanted to try out different colors over the months) and two complete sets with ballasts and haven't had an issue.

Capote also doesn't have the cap mod or drl killer and said that one of his ballasts is acting funny, maybe it's not putting out 35w anymore and that's why the colors were so skewed. Idk, I'm just still surprised that he had issues.

I found a replacement bumper from an '03 LT with fog/driving lights and its indigo blue...I want it.

And I'm wondering if I should get some projector headlamps I've found on ebay motors, but for $225?

I also see that all the leather (power) seats are in great condition...I will need to replace the carpet as well, think RockAuto can help me with that...do I pull the trigger? Will I need the BCM from that '03?

(I wasn't given a price on the seating, but I'm guessing it's close to $450)

For the price of eBay lights you could do a retro yourself. Or get in line n have aarkon build u a set.. They would probably be a lil more than the 225 though but lot better projectors..

I can't remember if I contacted him before, but I do like the products that he has done. I think it was around $500 for the set, maybe less if I provided the headlamps. I'll hit him up.

Thanks!

Those "ebay" projectors are pretty crappy, with a bad light pattern and cutoff from all the pictures I've seen. Not worth the $200 IMO... save a bit longer and get something good like from Aarkon.

I thought about offering some basic retrofit services (nothing special) but then I remember that lens glue and think nahhhh.....
