Those tails look good minus the chrome. I like the clear smooth cover. Through a couple coats of night shade on them and you will be set.

I just want to modify some OEM tails.

I am sure you can come up with something sweet with your electrical skills. I think your truck would look sweet with the tail lights and 3rd brake light blacked out with some night shade
