The brake/turn signal go to the same circuit of the bulb. Totally separate from the running lights. So obviously if the brake is depressed and the turn signal is on the brake light flashes while remaining lit with running lights. Just like any stock lights would do. Only difference is all 4 reds act the same on mine.

OK here is a video or my quad tails and my drunkenness last night :rotfl:

The Gingerbread Man Quad tail + LEDs: http://youtu.be/5b_187BLDdw

I put the relay resistor in an enclosure so it is unnoticeable under the hood.

:undecided: Has anyone ever had one of those "Ah ha!" (or "Oh shit!" more appropriately) moments, when the realize they actually MIGHT have a modding problem? :ugh:

I think I had one of those this evening. I'm a little scared. :helpme:

 I've had those too, but this one was different. This is my work table, currently...

Morimoto Mini D2S 2.0, Bi-xenon Lexus RX350, and low beam Lexus LS430. All on a table, NOT in a headlight assembly. :nono: Granted the RX350s were just delivered today. I have no problems buying mods, but I need some help staying focussed and putting the work in to finish the ideas. I think I need medication...

I'm leaning towards ultra basic retro with the RX350s, so I'll have that nice cutoff I had gotten used to, as well as high beam functionality. Maybe put a dummy projector in the high beam spot, or go with an HIR bulb. Then I can take my sweet time (like I've already been doing) with the LS430 retro.

Edit: Problem is, there's no convenient place with a flat wall about 30' away to do a proper alignment. I'd have to drive somewhere, swap lights, align, and swap back to drive home. Bleh...

I am wanting to have projector low beams now, I can not seem to find any that look stock. they are all ugly and I don't really have the time to make some like others here.....

:undecided:
Yeah there are only 2 options for us ATM, the newer version looks like :puke: The older version isn't quite as bad, relatively speaking. But you could buy the older set, and then mod that more to your liking. That's what some have done in the past. Maybe upgrade the projector, remove the halos if you don't like those. You still have some choices. :deal:

I might be able to be convinced to do a basic retrofit into a stock style set of headlights. I don't want to go through the lengths I did for mine with quad projectors again, but a low beam bucket retrofit with bixenon Morimoto Mini H1 projectors wouldn't be too bad.
