They really are not as expensive as I would have thought. The big issue is having a place with the height clearance. Luckily the new house attached garage should work with the scissor and van, then be usable outside or different places. Anyway how great would it be to bring a lift to a meet?

Bad news, looks like my 9005 Crees will not be shipping out until next week. Have to find something else for the mod bug this weekend.

Kevin said that he forgot to send them out on Tuesday. He is getting ready for Fallout (Not sure what that is) in San Antonio this weekend and left today and doing some work on the doors sills. He said he would have them shipped out Monday morning.

$hit happens when you have a hundred things going on at once. Hope he does not forget on Monday.

I agree, but he is doing it on the side and a service for GMTN and TBSSowner members. I assumed he would have it shipped out Tuesday since he said it would be there Thursday. Seen nothing yesterday and emailed him to find out the bad new.

Mistakes happen. It isn't like it is habitual or anything. He's still going to ship it, so it isn't like he's taking money and running or anything.

I agree. I was not complaining, just stating that the Crees were not going to arrive as planned. I have done business with Kevin before, I know he is a stand up guy and shit happens.

I thought cutting off my resonator last night was going hold me over on my exhaust for while, but after driving all day I was wrong, I've been pricing and searching mufflers all night.

Look at some YouTube vids too to see what the different mufflers sound like on our rigs

Good good, any idea on what kind of tip you might get?
 
I was actually thinking of seeing if I could track down two tips from the GMC Acadia or something like. makes it look like four outlets. My sister-in-law has an Acadia and those tips look cool IMO

I have to say if I brought myself to replace the stock muffler, I would most likely go with the 50 series as well. Interested to hear how it sounds when you post your sound clip :thumbsup:
