Hi guys, thought I should show my new set-up in my 2002 Envoy!

Sub: 12inch Custom sub made by Corey D. in New York. It is a Sundown zv2 motor made to my specs. His prices are EXTREMELY reasonable, great guy to deal with, and will soon be opening his own shop - he is the real deal. Anyone who wants his info, may PM me.


0ga wiring to sub amp
4ga wiring to door speaker amp
Amp: Autotek 1500 Stealth. 1500 rms @ 1ohm. I like it - does a great job hiding the wires.
Box is 2.1 ft tuned to 32hz

Front Doors: MB Quart 6.5" Onyx Components
Rear Doors: Rockford Fosgate 6.5" Coaxials
Door Amp: Alpine F300

head Unit: Clarions dxz855mp (have had it for 8 years, and still works perfect!)

Sub sounds AMAZING. Have been trying to push it to its limits, but am having a hard time.

Have ZERO bass boost, gain about half way up, and it is perfect. When I want to feel my brain rattle, I turn the bass up on the head unit and can feel my ear drum rattle!

The box I had built. I have built boxes, but I no longer have a garage at my current town house, plus it is very cold where I live, so I had the box built by a reputable builder in California.

I strongly recommend Sundown Audio, and even more so Corey who did the custom build.
for the price, in my opinion, it cannot be beat.
