Ok, so I've searched and read a TON of fan clutch threads on the interweb and I know that it needs to be replaced. I did, however, create what I think may be a problem.....maybe. I guess its just more of a concern.
Anyhow, I unplugged the fan clutch about a week ago while testing. I did a few more things and about an hour later slammed the hood and went inside for the night. This morning I was doing my usual checks and when I opened the hood realized that I never plugged the fan clutch back in. I've gotten no CEL no temp issues or any other problems. I know it shouldn't, but this kinda bothers me and I feel like I may have bigger issues if the ECM isn't seeing the missing fan clutch. If its not a big deal, then what are the thoughts on just going with an '09 mechanical clutch rather than the electric clutch and moving on with life?
Input and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
