Started modding again...

After 3 long years of battling with warranty companies, going through 4 motors, dealing with dealership bull chit, I finally took the plunge and threw all my parts back in the beaSSt...

PCMofNC tune,
PCMofNC oil relocation kit,
Brake duct mount tranny cooler,
NGK TR6 spark plugs,
LS1 Dorman E-fans,
PCMofNC 2 Really harness,
One piece 4" Fender Well Intake (FWI) w/LS7 MAF,
BoltOn speeds air box for the FWI,
160* T-Stat,
OBX 1 3/4 long tube headers w/a catted y pipe...

I also installed my Aero Force gauge and the windshield washer relocation kit...

We installed the headers yesturday and will button everything up later on today... here are some pix and the video of the first startup (don't in the hiccup in sound, it comes back lol)

Everything laid out so puuurrttty...

Hood, wheels, and fender liners taken out for easier access.

They're out!!

Time to install...

Thx fellas. About time is right! I've been chomping at the bit to go fast again ... next mod is built trans and stall... found some carnage while underneath the truck. There was fluid saturation on the bell housing and the tranny is the only weak link on the truck now...

Thx brethren! My brother said the same thing ha. "Quick f'n around and do work on that thing!" March 26th 2012 was the last time she had some go fast goodies in her...

That's what I'm hoping too. I'm deciding between the lvl 5 and 6 trannies now from flt and rpm... modding nvr ends lol

Just throw a 4L80E in there and be done with it the first time... At least I get the impression the 4L80E is a fair bit stronger than 4L70E

Yea that's the general concensus. But I can't decide if I just want to keep her N/A or go forced induction. If FI I will go the 80 route.

Ok, she's all dialed in again and let's just say I'll need some new tires by end of summer . I have forgotten how strong she really is with all the mods... she's so loud, she shakes while at idle... I love it!

Cut the 4.25" hole for the fender well intake (FWI)

Installing the efans...

New filter.. nice and looooow hehe (don't worry, it's protected by a box I bought from BoltOn speed...
