Hello everyone, Im new here but not to the GMT platform itself. Lately ive been having a speaker feedback issue that Ive been a bit stuck on. Every once in a while Ill hit a bump while driving and my passenger side speaker will squeal, and it changes with rev. Ive replaced the Alternator and even confirmed that the new one AND the old one had been functioning properly. Ive replaced the speakers. Ive tried a different type of connection to different speakers and still the problem persists. Between trying to work OT and get ready to move into a new house its possible I have overlooked something... Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like a grounding problem to me. Since its only in 1 door it may or may not be easier to isolate. Id be tempted to run a wire inside the cabin from where it exits the radio in the rear over to the speaker in the door and drive for a few days and see if that cures it. If not Id ck grounding of the entire radio and the shielding and connectors of the antenna wire. Still no help Id be inclined to think its internal of the radio...
Hopefully someone has had the same problem and will come along with a more experienced idea or 2...

I would bet he has the Bose system, and the amp is failing internally. Or the amp has a grounding issue.

FWIW, I'm thinking the same thing, especially given how often those amps bite the dust.
