Putting CR43TS plugs in the '94 k-1500, 350. I've got two different manuals, one says gap should the .035, the other .045???????

I always thought with HEI ignition (redundant I know) it should be the bigger gap.?

What manuals are you looking at? The online manuals say .035.

Old thread but lets get it going again. I had checked the plugs on my K code C1500. They were new CR43TS as they should be. All were gapped at .045. All had a nice tan burn as well. I closed them all to .035 as per the emissions sticker under the hood. Fuel mileage and driveability are unchanged as of this point.
