Retired my '05 XL a couple months back, have a few leftover spare parts including this brand new in sealed box oil filter. My research showed these to be the best of the best for the 4.2L I-6. I used them for my entire ownership, and I got 270k km on top of the original 170k km, so they get my recommendation.
