Hopefully those tails cleaned up a bit before you put them on...

I'm on tapatalk right now, so the pic is a little disstorted.. so it looks like they have the orange peel effect or a lil dull, is what I meant about cleaning them up...

But will look sexy against that silver

5 coats of vht and 3 coats clear.

Add about 6-7 more coats of clear, then wet sand with 2000 grit and buff with polishing compound then wax. You can make them as smooth as glass.

sand 2000 grit between each coat That is what I did and they are smooth as glass like you say and very glossy! Then a nice wax after and your good to go

They look good, Just a bit dark for my taste. I would recommend some LED's on those since there so dark

I'll get there I was workin on them till 3 in the morning and almost up for 24 hrs. So I was done. I can make them look better. And they are not too dark, heres a close up pic

I think that's about the perfect shade. You can tell a lot better in that light.

Thanks bro!! I thought so too. Also smoked my altezzas. And body colored em. Need to shoot the silver again. But here they is smoked without the covers

Well the silver part I painted comes apart from the light. That's how I painted them. I then vht the actual light housing with vht. Its a whole tail assembly that just comes apart. Not really a cover I guess.....sorry for the confusion.
