This will serve as the official chronical of my Blazer build. Here she is as I just purchased her. 1994 FS Blazer 4x4, auto, 5.7 TBI. Its a 2dr, maroon with a grey interior.

The plan: This vehicle is going to see a mix of street use, beach trips, and maybe some off road fun. Appropriately, it will be leveled using front key crank and maybe some 1" rear blocks. Exterior will be getting a new set of driving lights for the front bumper, fully cleared out headlights with projectors, a shaved roof, 265/75/16 or 285/75/16 tires on the stock wheels, and a new rear bumper. The roof, hood, grill, and lower body will be hit with bedliner and the roof/grill/rockers will also get a coating of color matched gloss enamel protectant. Engine will get e fans and headers....and I will be adding a chrome tip to the custom flowmaster exhaust already installed. Interior will be simple. I will fully recondition the stock interior including the reupholstering of the seats, and a simple system with a head unit, all new primary speakers, and a single 10" subwoofer. Will also add remote start and alarm. I will remove the rear 5% and leave the 20% on the front windows. Finally, I will install a new ac system to replace the previously removed one.

I really like my new rims. A reproduction of the 2007 Tahoe LTZ rim...

I have always liked those big body fullsize Blazers. My father-in-law had a 2 door Tahoe with a Detroit Diesel in it- that thing was a monster. Good luck and keep the pics coming!

I've been looking for a good one almost tow years. Its rare and in great shape. Ibe built this truck in my head so many times over the years that I can already see the finished product in the driveway. Its gonna take a lot of time and just as much money, but it is going to be bad ass. First step is to detail the shit outta this thing to wash off the redneck grime from the po. Then the the system installed because he took out the pos head unit. But it already has the sub wiring run, so that's a small bonus.

Mods, day one. Deracked, de-rednecked somewhat. Lowered front torsion keys to level the sagging leaf springs. Started the massive detail/recon undertaking.

Check out the dramatic difference in the cargo area...that just with oxyclean, hot water, scrubbing, and a shop vac. The second pass will bench more effective.

That amp is wicked awesome! I'm totally gonna use it in my setup! It's pretty useless, but decent cables are already run for the system...so I dig that.

I'd keep the visor if I was going to lift it, but it still has a couple inches to drop and I want nice clean lines.

Roll pan...maybe. but it will be steel and welded to the body. But I am likely going to keep the bumper and the factory hitch. It still needs to be functional.

Two weeks in. Roof shaved, state inspection passed(woot!), front keys totally decranked. With the saggy rear leafs, I only need to drop the rear and inch to level it. With that and a set of 20" rims with 32" at tires, stance should be set. It's not slammed at all, but at bit more sport than utility. Also fits better with the paint plans I have decided on.

Looking good so far. I always liked that almost mirror-like tint on those old Tahoes and Blazers.
