Side irons

My first diesel. 2015 LT. I want to try the AMP power running boards. They need a special bracket for the diesel because of the DEF tank. IF I have factory side irons, do I already have that bracket? If so, I should be able to get the 1500 version of the boards and save about $350 over the diesel version. Anyone ever heard of or tried to do this? The factory irons are exactly wrong for the height. Too close to the rocker panel. The 'ol woman does a controlled fall from the passenger side and it's only a matter of time before really getting hurt.

Might need to ask AMP. Reason being is yeah there is going to be some sort of bracket for the factory boards, but, whether or not it matches up with the aftermarket boards is another question. AMP would know.

Frame should be different. It's bigger.
