Hello all. I just received the exhaust manifold for my tb. Just wanted some opinions before starting this job. There are some grind marks on this thing and don't know if it's from production or not. I attached photos. Let me know if this is ok to install. Doesn't appear to be used as it's still damp with machine oil.

Where did you get it? If from some place like RA, look at the photos and see if they are there. That looks like post production grinding.

Here's a pic from Amazon. It's an OCPTY brand. The grinding is displayed in their product pics. Maybe they removed a previous brand stamp so they could sell it?

I would spray it with some engine paint (any color) to keep it from starting to rust in days.

Now, what would you guys recommend to remove broken manifold bolts 2 so far but I'm sure more will snap. Was thinking spiral style?
I have done this and it has worked for me: Drill a shallow centered pilot hole in the broken bolt then take a drill bit, say 3/16" and reverse grind the rake angle on it . Now drill out the broken bolt with your drill set on reverse. This will, create heat and the ccw rotation to back it out.

A reverse drill bit and an easy out. Some heat from a propane torch on the surrounding aluminum will help. IIRC, they have some "yellow" Loctite from the factory.
