Hi Guys,

I came over from TrailVoy and am looking forward to being a member over here.

Getting a check engine light on my 2006 Trialblazer relating to "Secondary Air Injection System Shut Off Valve Stuck."

Explanation was PCM detected air flow during a non flow period

Probable cause: Failed air check valve assembly.

What are your thoughts. Is this something I should be able to take care of myself relatively easily or should a professional handle this.

Last is this ok to drive on for a week until I get a chance to fix it?

Thanks guys!

Only you know your own DIY experience level, if you're full up on tools and a warm place to work, etc. It's easier than a brake job, for instance, but tougher than a new fan belt. Welcome to forum, but we're not the best ones to evaluate your skills.
