Seat compatability

Hey i was wondering if anyone knew wether the seats from say a 2005 sierra 1500 would fit/can be adapted to fit a 2005 trailblazer ext. My current driver seat is pretty worn out and i was thinking. If im gonna replace it, might as well get some that are more comfortable. I think i read somewhere that both vehicles use similar rail designs but im not 100% sure

I tend to agree that they would be too big to fit and the mounting is likely not the same. And pickup seats don`t have the seat belts. And you also have to remember that the seats are part of the safety systems to protect occupants in a crash so even if they would physically fit, the modifications required to the mounting may render them unsafe.
