I have the fuel level in Torque. I can send you over the equation and such.

I would like to get ambident temp, oil life and the gear one working.
I have tried with the Xgauge equations and still nothing.

Unless you have the temp displayed on the rearview mirror, your not going to have the sensor from the factory. It can be added, Its easy to do.

AFAIK, Scangauge comes with a display for IAT, which is the "ambient" intake air temperature, which comes from the sensor in the intake tubing. It's affected a lot by engine compartment heat. If you just want the outside air temp in front of the radiator where the automatic HVAC system and the optional compass display get its sensor reading, it may be easier to just buy a wireless thermometer from Radio Shack. I haven't ever heard of anyone snagging the data stream from the HVAC system sensor on a scangauge. Since the sensor is read by the HVAC control module, and not the PCM or BCM, it would take a more advanced than average scan tool to even get at that data because you'd be communicating to a sub-module. The kind of scan tool that could also command movement out of the HVAC actuators.

sure please do , I used the scangauge codes for VPW and no go on it .

the oil life i used " Remaining Oil Life 6C10F122119F(01) 04628511069F 3008 00C800330000 OLF %

I entered 6C10F122119F(01) as 6C10F122119F01 and it worked

Can you post that here, it's something I'd like to add to mine.

At one time I remember looking at the equation for the fuel level in torque.
For some reason I can not find that now.
When I do I will post it up.
I added mine through the preadded PIDs in the original Torque app. So I didnt have to do the equation or what not.

I will tell you my gauge on the truck is about 20% off from Torque.

Edit Try this

012F1 PIDHex
Name Fuel Level
MinValue 0
MaximumValvue 100
Units %
Equation
100*A/255

So here is a question for you.

I do not have the DIC.
Will that prevent the TB from showing the oil life %?
I have tried the PID listed and have gotten no where with it.

I would also like to show tire pressures and such.
If onstar can show the oil life and tire pressures on my non DIC TB there has got to be a way to hack into it.
