Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing well. Sorry I have been MIA for so long.

Here is the current repair/maintenance I have done to our TB...

Had to replace ball joints, they got to the point where they was making a popping noise while turning at low speeds. Also went ahead and replaced the upper control arms since the bushings was shot in the factory/OEM control arms. This was my first time using a ball joint press, everything went smoothly after I figured out how to use the press I purchased from harbor freight.

Did everything by hand since I lack the air powered tools.

But it's all done and now safe for my family to commute in.

Here is the part numbers I used for reference for anyone that has a 04 TB Ext...

And control arms, both are AC Delco brand.

Thanks, Robert

I'm doing my upper control arms, and bushings once it gets cooler out. Is it the driver side that requires part of the inner fender to be bent/shaved down a bit, in order to get the bolt out?

Mine was the drivers side. I believe I cut the sheet metal with a hacksaw and then bent the sheet metal out of the way. No problemo.

Yes sir. I used my dremel with the sandpaper attachment. It didn't take long with it and doesn't require much trimming.

Me was passenger side inner fender that I just bent to clear the bolt.
