Repair your console lid

I ran across some console lid repair kits on Amazon. Thought it may be helpful for those of you with broken lids.

Just an idea to keep them from breaking again:
Buy a can of Great Stuff (now available in Black), put masking tape over any extra screw/bolt holes, and spray this between the two armrest parts and then quickly tape over that spot. Let dry and install. The foam will give you added support and keep it from breaking again, and also without making the lid too rigid when your arm is resting on it. Win-win.
