I need to remove some tint on a rear glass that has the defrost grid on it. Any thoughts? I have removed tint using ammonia and a razor blade, but that was a side window. I don't think that would do the trick with the grid!

Heat gun? Other chemical? Slice between the grid and use (xx) chemical?

TIA.

I used a heat gun when I did it...i have also heard people put black garbage bag on the window to attract the sun, and wait for it to heat up that way

Garment steamer, takes off the adhesive when you peel the tint back. Heat gun works, and some rubbing alcohol to remove any residue (90% if you find it, not that cut back 70% BS)

Don't have a garment steamer, but I like the idea. I do have 90% alcohol.
