So I am going to replace the original ignition switch on my 05 TB 4x4 LT as a preventive measure. I’ve read through the many threads on it and have some good info as to how to remove the switch itself and set the teeth to the right position. My question though is about the power adjustable pedals option that I have on my truck. How does that switch for the pedals come off so I can take off the shroud and change out the switch? Also are most people taking down the kick panel and knee bolster panel or just leaving those in place and only removing the column shroud? It seems that I’ve seen threads on doing it both ways. Thanks for all responses and information.

The pedal adjustment switch on my 04 clips into the shroud and the wires was long enough to unlatch and come out with the shroud.I removed knee bolster for added room to work and left kick panel on.
