rear window stopped working

hey everyone i hope you are ok,

so today i opened my rear left door window, what happened it when i pressed the button it went down half way and stopped tried again nothing happened when i pressed again to go up a weird noise like glass or small plastic is breaking and it went up but so slow tried it down again the same noise cracking glass or plastic but the windows glass is fine any suggestions

Check the window motor assembly. It does have a couple of plastic pulleys that could break. I have a spare one I could sell if you need it.

so do you think i could buy a new one or go to the junk yard because i cant buy it from you i live in saudi arabia

It's called a window regulator. Many vendors should be able to ship to your country if your local suppliers can't get one.

my local supplier have the regulater but just to make sure the breaking noise of plastic is from the regulater pulleys for that the regulater need to be changed am i correct

Take the door panel off and look at the broken bits. Your troubleshooting is going to have the huge benefit of being able to see it. All we can do is guess, and we already did. You might have a mouse inside the door that just got crushed by the window regulator motor and gears, but that's much less likely.

ok thank you i will take the door panel and see inside whats the problem

so today i took the door panel and rolled the window down i saw the iron rope that go inside the wheel that spins to roll the window up or down is bent from different places took the assembly off and tried to fix it with no luck can i change the rope alone or i need to buy it new
