Could be a wheel bearing. I had the same problem on mine, bearing was good, sensor in the bearing was not. Replaced both front wheel bearings on mine, and the problem went away. You should be able to plug in a mid range scan tool, and get the exact location of which sensor has failed.

99% that it's one of your front hubs that need replacing throwing off the ABS sensor. Try cleaning the sensors, especially any rust under the sensor that would be jacking it. That fixes it 25% of the time. Usually requires a hub replacement. Trick is finding which one. You would need a scanner capable of reading live data from those sensors.

I answered in the other thread. Please keep your issues separate. Moved the posts to this one.

did you clean the rust around the sensor holes? That's where the rust will jack up the sensor and throw it off. The sensors looked fine to me.

Remove that screw and spacer and clean them as well.... should be essentially "shiny". That whole mounting surface should be completely free of rust. Be careful not to "plane" it - i.e. don't wear it down. I've used high grit sandpaper and precision files to clean them just don't take away too much material.

WTF? Is that Hub CRACKED?

Looking down the hole, I dont see any contamination on the exciter/tone ring. Looks like it has good lube going on in there. Check over the condition of the wiring, all the way from the hub, up the knuckle, across the control arm, to the harness connector. Check for anything like you had on the rear (rubbing, chaffing, etc).

I have one of my detroits abs sensor going bad, not the bearing just the sensor, ordered a timkin to replace it with. Mine didn't show any abs lights, but i did get a C0040 code for the right front speed sensor failure.

hook a meter to it and see if it outputs ~450mv at 1-2rpm

02-04 don't have rear sensors at the wheels. It uses the one at the driveshaft output. I have never heard of the rear sensor triggering the ABS at slow speed like that.
