Sure some of us may not be multimillionaires with mansions filled with a sea of supercars but I was wondering what people had as that car they always wish they owned when the price either came down into the realm of affordability or just the car that they wish they had sitting in their driveway (next to their GMT of course).

I was spurned on by my dad celebrating his 50th Birthday by purchasing a car that he always admired but couldn't afford with 4 kids in College and other related expenses. A BMW E39 M5 with under 100K on it, luckily for him my quasi uncle owned one and was looking to sell it and about 8 other cars out of his collection to pay for his new Boating hobby so he picked it up for cheap.

Personally I would have to go back to my roots find a clean 1st gen F150 Lightning (93-96) in Oxford White. My first car was a 95 Regular cab 2WD F150 with the 5.0L and I always loved driving that thing despite it getting about 180-220KM on a 60L tank (heavy foot when I was younger...)

Just wondering what other members on here have always wanted/yearned after that are/will be in the realm of affordability (ie. no Veyrons... unless...)

I dream of one day owning one of every generation F-body. Mostly stock but clean and daily drivable.

I was expecting some vehicles I wouldn't like, but EVERY car posted thus far is pretty cool. The E39, and it's little brother, the E46, are the best looking BMWs ever.

C5 Corvette. You can find them under $20k these days. Stock 350hp, but plenty of engine mods are available if you just can't accumulate speeding tickets quickly enough. This generation, IMO, is what elevated the Corvette to "world class sports car".

I must add that my TB is a dream car to me. All throughout High School I owned a S-Blazer and said my dream was an small suv with 4x4, lift, bumpers, winch, 33s and 300HP.

Well here it is...plus a step up to 35s which were monster tires back then

I've been really into LS swaps of all sorts lately...

I've been working on my 96 Impala SS - LS2 swap since around February this year, complete restoration (drivetrain, body, interior). Probably around 2 months worth of work/waiting on parts to get it done. By the time it is all done i'll probably have under $15k invested total and will have a brand new car in and out putting down around 400hp to the wheels

I was at the shop that custom makes wiring harnesses and saw a Honda S2K with an LS motor in it... would LOVE to drive that thing

Yesterday this popped up on LSXTV.com, a 911 with an LS7.

Ever since I had my '70 Javelin and my '78 AMX, I have always wanted the "true American" muscle car

I prefer the old body style. I had planned on building one in my retirement, but when my daughter was born all my retirement money was earmarked for college.:rotfl:
Maybe when she graduates (in 20 years) she'll buy me one with all the money she's going to be making. :wootwoot:
I just hope I'm not too old to drive.

94-95 Bronco. I could afford one right now but i bought a Trailblazer because if I had bought a Bronco I'd be broke doing mods. Instead I;m broke doing regular maintenance..
