So i was messing with my radio settings yesterday and fumbling with the fade knob (found out the front right and rear left are out) and ran into a strange issue. The a/c turned on without me pressing the power. Could this be a ground issue? I haven't looked at the electrical diagram to know if they are tied together somehow. Has anyone else had this happen? When i first got it i remember sitting parked at idle and messing with the a/c and it caused the truck to stall stating low oil pressure on the DIC (which there wasn't). I'm not very electrically inclined outside of installing sounds/radios/etc. Just thought i should throw that in there.

you might have a speaker shorting to ground. check your pinch points and metal edges for bare spots and shorts

Do you have the automatic control system for the heat & AC?

I would agree then that somewhere somehow some wires are crossed or crushed together. I don't think the radio functions go through the BCM other than retained power feed.
