Q: what's a good price for a GM Tech 2?

Local classifieds there's a GM Tech 2 Pro Kit with canadian card for $200, should I but it? Not familiar with the Tech 2, anything I need to worry about. It's running software version 144.

Suspiciously low, like when you go to buy it they will tell you to wire them money via Western Union.

No legitimate Tech II is going for $200. More like $2000.

There are also Chinese clones to beware of.

That's suspiciously cheap. My work just payed that much for the cable that connects the tool to the obd2 adapter lol.
