Customer was really had to have his night driving visibility back!

This car needed some real TLC, but didn't stand a chance against some menzerna power finish on some lake country flats! I just wnat to point out how nice power finish is. This paint was in pretty bad shape and PF is not super aggressive and still performed this well. This was all done with the flex 3401.

Owner wanted to fall in love with their car again and never had it detailed. It really wasn't in too bad of shape, but the owner was very happy.

Yeah I can't claim to be the fastest at this, but I cover everything. This was a two step correction with a full interior.

Occasionally there can be some moisture trapped inside the lens but usually the cloudy appearance comes from exterior. We have several headlight restoration articles with pictures on our Ask A Pro Blog. Each one highlights a slightly different process but all of them are pretty cost effective and simple ways to fix the lights or make a huge improvement. Several great articles that take you step by step through the process if anyone is interested.

Had a little side business here in Charlotte doing that. Talk about a business with little overhead to start. I usually did 400 1000 2000 i know 400 to 1000 is a jump but it worked great. Then just buffed them out. Didn't put any clear on them because i seen to many clear coats peal off.

Another 2 step with menzerna power finish and menzerna power lock. I didn't do before shots on this because it really wasn't in bad shape, but the paint did give back some nice reflection shots.

Man was this paint a lot of work, but I love the color and another happy customer.
I ended up using the Megs twins on this one (105/205). My menzerna SIP just wasn't enough with this color. Sorry if the pictures are not in order...

Customer brought it in for a resale detail. They couldn't believe it was the same car. I was able to achieve about a 75 percent correction. I didn't like the numbers I was getting on my paint thickness gauge. I was looking too thin to try and cut further. I would of loved to use some compound, but like said the juice wasn't worth the squeeze....

This daily driver is always outside and was in serious need of a deep cleaning. I had to break out the pressure washer for this one. I also needed to use a product called iron x that pulls iron deposits out of the paint. You can see in the pictures where the paint turns purple. Killer stuff guys.

Looks good.
Do you just spray it on and wipe/rinse it off? Or do you need to scrub/polish it?

Yeah you rinse the car down first, spray and let sit for 5 min and wash off. You don't want to do it in direct sun. Most just use it on wheels, but you can really use it for anything. It has a heavy smell to it, but its the real deal.

I was able to get some nice correction here with some Menz SIP on a LC yellow followed by some Menz PF on a LC orange pad. My garage is a complete mess in the one pic so sorry about that. When I get working I just grab from everwhere.

That is amazing work, literally looks like glass! How long did the work take? Too bad you are 200 miles away, my TB could use a good paint clean-up.

Nice work ChriSS! I love me some Menzerna and I haven't tried the SIP yet, I think I will now. What is your thoughts on the PF over a FF? Do you think the PF would suffice? I have been using the older Intensive polish/ Final polish but the IP just didn't cut enough on occasions.

That Edge looks like you could put your hand through it....nice work.

I can say that the PF is my number one go to product. I use that with an LC CCS orange on my flex 3401 for most of my jobs. Its breaks down nicely and leaves an awesome shine.

Nice...the 3401 is on the "want" list but my PC will have to suffice for now.

I started with the PC a couple years ago. Once you can pull the trigger on the flex you'll ask yourself how you ever did without!?!

Was a double duty weekend for me and this was todays job. It was a long day to say the least and believe it or not the interior was harder than the exterior. The seats killed me, but I was able to get most of it clean.

I feel you on those seats. Those newer Fords and Dodge/Chrysler/Jeeps are the worst seats I've had to do. Just out of curiosity what products and method did you use to get them cleaned up?

It's amazing how versatile APC can be. Thanks for the info; I always like to see what other people use to tackle the same issue.

2008 Acura TSX with a lot of oxidation. Turns out that half the car had single stage paint. I think this car has some secrets... With that I couldn't hit this car too hard since the paint was super soft. There was a lot more I would have liked to get, but wasn't going to risk damage to the paint. This was one of those deals where you just make it the best it can be for what it is.

Had some time this weekend so I did some much needed cleaning on the wife's jetta. This is her daily driver and its not garage kept so... Most here know I'm a die hard menzerna fan, but every detailer should always have a secondary brand. I decided to use the megs twins (101/205). The 101 is their newer foam pad compound. I like it a lot more than the regular 101. It still dusts just a little less, but its work time is far greater!

Might have to explain this one... This is a very reflective pic of the door. You can see in the mirror that the door is open. I placed a mirror up to reflect back on the door and you can now read the bottles correctly. So the whole picture is of just the door. Everything in the pic is reflection

I know I usually have good before and after pictures, but she was given to me in pretty good shape. Most rides I get a pretty beat up as most know. We’ll I did a mico polish with some menzerna super finish, sealed with menzerna power lock and topped it off with some fuzion wax. The hardest part of the job was giving the car back!

Whats awesome about how she sounds depends on which key you start the car with? If you use a special key the car uses a performance tune preprogrammed in the PCM. Its crazy....it even has a different exhaust note. Very cool car and if I get the chance I will buy one myself!

Wow really. Ford racing is moving up. I figured since Jay Leno owned one, the car had to be pretty awesome!
