Pulsating subwoofers

I've had this issue once before but it went away on it's own...now it's back. My subwoofers seem to pulse every 30 seconds or so...even with them turned down...even with the headunit off completely. Is this just a grounding issue? I've had them in for about 4 years now with the issue only coming up once before. Any advice on where to start?

I'd start by politely wiggling the rcas where they plug into the sub amp, as well as unplugging them and plugging them back in. Since it does it with the radio off, I'd do those things with the radio off.

Tried doing this. Still pulsing. Right now I have the RCA's unplugged completely(no pulsating now). Could it just be bad cables?
