Start with visiting THIS Link and after copy-pasting the Text of their suggested Basic FSCM Diagnostic Procedures and Information over to a .DOC File and SAVING them... View their Diagnostic Video at the Bottom of this Page:

Also... Eric "O" from SMA (South Main Auto) has an Excellent Winter Time Diagnostic Video on a Full Size GM-GMC Class Truck with an errant FSCM (He calls it an FSPM) that became invaded with Road Salt and Liquid Saline Road Slush. This casement seal leak caused the Communications failure of the Class 2 Network after one Logic Board MOSFET inside of it Burned Out.
Later on, Eric "O" explains his use of a High-End Scanner and Windows Laptop Computer to access his Pro On Line Auto Shop Account on the ACDelco TIS2WEB web Site. He then follows the normal Hardware Set Up Steps to update the Old PCM Calibration using his Bosch Scan Tool to add the FSCM Module onto the Class 2 Network after performing this R&R with a Brand New OEM Replacement Component:
