power steering lines

on my '03 tb, like most others, the PS lines along the left wheel well are extremely rusty along that rubber cushion that they go through. if i remove the rubber and paint the lines to hopefully stop the rust, what is everyone using to then hold the lines in place? obviously putting rubber back over them isn't a great option. or will they be ok to just hang out there with nothing holding them?

personally i kept the rubber mount when i replaced my lines. i did give a good coat of rustoleum underbody spray and soaked the rubber with 3 in 1 oil.

i ddint want the lines vibrating or rubbing , and would imagine the lines will last the rest of teh trucks life
