Ported throttle body

Went to clean my tb and realized it wasn't that dirty so decided to take my dremel to it instead 🙃 seems to have better partial throttle response. I did my ford focus tb years ago (almost 20yrs) so it wasn't my 1st time but been a minute lol. Anyway, figured I'd post some pix 😋 before, you can see the weird lumps I'm guessing they have there as limiters so it's harder to get more throttle open for better mileage maybe 🤷‍♂️ anyway, knocked that stuff off and smoothed it out a little. Definitely has better partial throttle response. Yes I did the idle 3 minutes off 1 minute repeat deal to relearn throttle position or whatever you wanna call it. Was rushing to get it back on so I could surf yesterday but I did clean it up smoother than the texture it had after the mild port job. Laters all 🤙

Oh, I didn't have loctite and wasn't originally planning to port it so didn't remove butterfly, thus the dirty parts I couldn't reach on butterfly with dremel polishing wheel. Quick recent pic of my cow since I don't think I have any on here 😋

Interesting. I had done that years ago to my '02 and the results were meh. I had been chasing an off-idle stumble and it did nothing for that. My '07 doesn't have that problem.

I have 3.42 gearing so low rpm power is like lugging a civic so I could tell the partial throttle difference it made. There's nothing but hills/mountains here and I'm pretty much always downshifting to maintain any speed and to downshift I needed like half throttle pretty much or sometimes more. Now it's less throttle to downshift or move along
