I here every one talking about doing the wheels and hood and even the bumper and then pealing it off later. I wanted to use it on something besides the trailblazer .is there any way to make it more permanent , Say if I sand with 400 first ,or some prep work. Will it stick better. I even contacted them but got no response back .

Well if u wanna do more of a pemanent then go w/ paint. I am sure the shit will "stick" better if u sand. But u will still beable to remove it. Just might be a pain in the ass to do so. I know if u paint ontop of plast-dip its TONS harder to peel off.

typically the only prep work involved in some wax and grease remover to make sure the surface is clean... if you do scuff, sand, etc... whatever surface is left underneath the plasti dip, will be revealed once the plasti dip wears off and its time to peel it off.. remember, its a rubberized coating in a can.. it sticks pretty good to just about anything, so long you apply it right (not running it, beading it up, no light applications, etc...)

as Jeff mentioned.. if you want a permanant solution, then do regular paint.. not plasti dip..
