The pilot had already been rescued. It was the navigator/weapons officer they were looking for.
Yes, I know he was not the front seat pilot. But is still classified as a pilot with other certs, as you said. If you did not get, that I was talking about the "pilot" that all of the USA was talking about, I accept my mistake, but for some reason, out of 4 forums I am on, you are the only confused member as to who I was talking about.
