Hello, I was cleaning my floor mats and noticed some mystery plug/wire hanging out and I'm not ready to pull apart my dash. My speakers do get a whine through the speakers and I can only get it to stop by nudging my console, not sure if it's related. Can someone tell me what this is please?

If you have the auto-HVAC system with digital readout, that could be one of the duct temp sensors. Check for a hole nearby in the HVAC plenum that it could go into.

Also, you may not need to take apart the dash to get a better look. That carpeted piece, has a screw on each side. You can remove those, and rotate that piece downwards, allowing you to get a peak up into the radio stack a short ways. That might allow you to back trace where that wire is going, to zero in on where that sensor's home might be. :twocents:
