P0410 troubleshooting

I hear my pump run on start up for about 30sec. I just started getting this p0410 code a week ago. should i start with the check valve as my first place to diagnose the problem?

Welcome! I bet I know how you found this place.

Yes. Start by removing the hose from the check valve. Make sure you hear exhaust noises from the valve on a cold start, and feel the turbine pump blowing through the hose.

It could also be a sluggish O2 sensor if the test above works.
