P0332:
Definition
- Knock Sensor condition
Explanation - The PCM - (Powertrain Control Module Monitors the Knock sensor for errors.
Probable Cause:
(1) Knock Sensor is defective
(2) Check connector and wiring to sensor
(3) Engine mechanical condition involving a knock or rattle in engine
(4) Low fuel pressure

The Rear Knock Sensor 2 (KS2) is located on the Driver's Side of the GM 4.2L Engine, to the rear and just under the Starter. The recommended replacement component is GM Part # 12567446 ...under $50.00 and it is a fairly straightforward R&R. IIANM... You should not require a Tech 2 to make any corrections with the PCM...other than clearing the Codes...and ordinary OBD2 Scanners should be able to do that:

Something with the knock sensor. Either it's not plugged in right, it's defective or something with the wiring.
