Onstar Crash Sensors

Hello, I have read that some GM vehicles have automatic crash response sensors, while other vehicles rely on airbag deployment to notify Onstar. Does anyone know if our trucks have these sensors, moreover does a 2008 Trailblazer have auto crash response sensors?

Trailblazers aren't listed as having those sensors. See HERE for an explanation and listing of vehicles that are so equipped.

I never realized they had specific sensors for that. I always thought Onstar used the airbag sensors and communicate with the BCM to determine if the bags were deployed. Guess you learn something new every day.
