OEM Smoked Taillights

Hey everyone, I got a different style taillight so the OEM one's have to go. I only had them on my truck for a month or so after tinting them.

I'm asking $60 shipped anywhere in the US.

yep, niteshades. cleared and buffed. Ill try and get a better pic, but I am limited to my phone because my digital camera is MIA.

2 coats of niteshades, 5 coats of clear.

I thought about LED's, I'm on the fence about putting maybe 1 coat of niteshades on these so they probably wouldn't be seen. If I dont smoke them then I most likely will go LED cuz I think it looks badass.

I am also on the fence about tinting them. IMO if you tint them LEDs are a must!!! You do know that if your tails don't use the boards they are easy to mod for quads, right?

yep, I remember reading a thread that had a how to, it is defiantly something I would like to do one of these days.

I saw some 68 SMD LED's on ebay that I was thinking about getting if I don't go with the spider ones. I heard that the LED's that are available from the local parts stores are not that bright, and in some cases the incandescent bulb is actually brighter... has anyone tried them?

I had some that looked like the one's the parts stores around me sell for about $12 each and I paid about $3.50 a pair for them. they weren't that great. here's the cheap LED vs. the spiders

They're not as bad as that pic makes them look. That's just tail lights in bright sun. I would say they're about the same as non-LEDs
