Yeah, I'm on an O2 binge: Today attempted to change the (edit) LEFT front sensor, this one not coding any errors -it's just old. Breaking it loose more difficult than bank 2 sensor 1, but the connector appears impossible to access. Looks like the drive-shaft has to come down, but even then not sure can get both hands on it to pull the lock pin and disconnect/reconnect from below. From the top would have to disconnect a few vacuum tubes and a fuel line, but I can't even see the connector from top.

I gave it a cleaner squirt and gave-up.

Any pointers?

Right side is a biatch. Go by the right wheel well to access the connector. Then remove it from the pipe.

To install, I just learned a trick for my Caprice which seems to be similar for placement. Before installing it, connect it and snake it into position. Then pre-twist the wire a few turns and install it.

Left side is a bit easier. Again, access from the wheel well but the wire isn't as short.

Sorry, can't tell right from left, corrected above.
It's the Left sensor, bank 1 sensor 1 I'm having issue.

Fixed!
Remove bolts from front driveshaft to push aside for access with both hands.

150 miles yesterday. Seems to make almost 2mpg improvement with 2 new upstream sensors.
