Not wanting to revive a seemingly dead thread, but since I searched other threads for info and did not find answers, figured, to try here... I am looking to replace my 3057 tail light bulbs with LED .. for something brighter and last longer. Would also like to try and replace the back up light bulb and marker lights. Basically any thing other than the headlights themselves and or don't want anything the CAN bus would not like without resistor modifications. Basically just plug and play.

If you don't want to add resistors to the turn signal lines, you'll want to buy an LM486/487 LED flasher relay to replace the one under the dash on the left side above the dead pedal. They are a dime a dozen online. I wanna say only the 02s had SRCK sockets to worry about, so as long as you get standard pin configurations, you should be OK there.

Back in 2019 when I busted up my Depot LED tails, I went back to the OEM assemblies, and bought 2 sets of red, and 1 set of these white bulbs. Dropped right in, and have been running them ever since. :twocents:

Thanks for link on bulb. Ordered them for the backup lights. So the relay is ok to use until the LEDs arrive / I can still run it with standard bulbs ?
