I just replaced the engine in my 2003 trailblazer with an engine from a 2007 trailblazer. Started up right away. Shut down to check coolant, now will not start and flashes code P1512. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance

P1512 = Control Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance

Did you clean the throttle body? Disconnect the battery again for 30 minutes while cleaning it. Beyond that, check the wiring for the throttle body and pedal sensor. Beyond that, sounds like the throttle body may be defective. If you have a spare from the old engine, clean it and swap it in.

Is still running but has Check Engine light and Power Reduced light on. Had same lights before engine swap. Question I have is should I replace throttle body or keep looking? DTC code P1512 is still coming up.

I'd be looking to replace it. Find a good used one. Pick-n-pulls are cheap. New are kinda pricey.
