This morning I was diving my 2008 Trailblazer LT about 2 miles when I stopped at a stop sign. Once I started to go the truck had no power and the stablitrac active messege was on the display. Crawled into a parking spot and shutdown the truck. Restarted the truck and it was normal and drove another 2 miles without an issue.
I have been having a long on going issue with the service stiblatrac messege coming on durning the winter months. Usually durning the summer months it stops. The dealer checked it during an oil change and said it was the sensor in the steering. Yes I should have replaced it. Could this be my low power issue? Any input would be great.

I was told after you replace the Steering Wheel Position sensor it needs to programed or learned by a GM tech 2
Is the sensor hard to replace?
