No antenna for home radio, no problem.

When I was cleaning up the garage I was hooking up a radio that my girl bought at a yard sale. Well it did not come with an antenna, and after thinking about just using some speaker wire and creating a loop I decided for something a bit different.

Used the antenna from the old Cavalier, I literally stripped everything from that poor thing. Just stripped the coax and put the shielding in one hole and the center wire in the other. Flawless quality, pics up stations from 2 states over. I got bored today and put the Billet shorty on it. Not sure if I am half retarded or a just a gear head.

What do you mean *or*. :raspberry:

*Both* is a perfectly good answer. :rotfl:

You've got a perfectly good workshop radio setup. May not be acceptable in the house, though.

I like. Creative and prolly more functional than my lil wire looped over a couple drywall screws in the wall.
