Then hit the road now, do some sightseeing, 4-wheeling, and still be here in time, or, just tap your heels three times, and say "there's no place like Washington State"

LOL, I can actually make it there with 2 days of driving. Well at least to Longview and I know it is only a few hours to Seattle. But that is a long trip and longer on the return, at least it feels like it.

Hmmm, might be able to swing that Bill. That would be a good meeting point too, lots of stuff up there. Think its about a 45min drive from my house in North Seattle, not too bad.

Craig, I, and my brother will be meeting up to BS anyway with our 3 TrailBlazers (haha I need another TB, then Id have a meet everytime I drive home).

I like the Tulalip Casino idea, Bill will have the longest drive at around 2 hours (if the border cooperates). Does the 31st work for everyone? The 30th works for Craig and I, but I know some people work M-F.

Meet around 9-10 on Saturday at Tulalip Casino work for everyone?

(P.S. Ill bring EFILive in case anyone needs a CASE or something done. Dont know if anyone needs a tune [02-05 I6s only for now], but if you do let me know beforehand so I can buy a license.)

Sweet! Glad everyone's coming out! Its been a royal PITA getting meets together the last 4 years, glad there are finally people who want to meet and hang out!

Bill, Im working on it! Figuring out my SS first, then doing your 'Lade will be easy!

Great Donny, Ive been looking forward to meeting you for a while now! Steve (Steve03TB from the OS) has said lots of good things about wheelin' with you.

asautt, sounds good bud. My buddy who lives in Spokane near Craig might have to drive himself over on the 30th so if so he'll have his Isuzu Amigo at the meet.

Anyone else available?

(Jbones, are you going to be able to install your lift before the meet? Ill be free the 27/28th if you need a hand, Ive got all the tools except a spring compressor [always just rent it]. Let me know!)

I don't suspect the lift while get done until after the New Year, when the extra $$ is available for front Blistens. Drives me  staring at it in the garage. But be sure I'll be taken you and Donny on the offers of your help and expertise when that day comes. Thanks Jeff.

I will have new 75W-90 in the front, doing that today, and flushing the PS fuild!

Ok sounds good, Ill be in and out of Seattle throughout January so just let me know when you get the front shocks in and have time. Yours is new enough stuff probably isnt rusted like crazy, but who knows.

Good call on the diffs, going to change both of mine, the transfer case, and the transmission next week. Just about to 30k, was in Spokane at 25k without tools or a garage so Ive had to wait. Driving me nuts!

Thank's for the PM help Eric.

Recap: glad I did the front diff today, the oil was black as coal. The PS Flushed worked ok as well, the ole syringe from wall-marts auto section, I'll do a couple more suck and fills over the next few days. Transfer case done about a week ago.

If only the lift before the meet was possible. :quiverlips:

By the way..... someone had said a while back that since we had the first official "GMT Nation meet" we were going to get decals, has anyone heard any more info about that? i had PM'd him but have had no response.... no big deal, i would just kinda like to have some more advertisement/show support for the site.

Yes Sir. The Boss said that anybody that was there would get decals as soon as they are produced and in his hand.

Well, since this was the first official meet of GMTNation, even though it was planned on TrailVoy, we would like to offer the 5 attendees their choice of GMTNation decals.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to many more meets being organized and executed over the next few months... leading up to the biggest and best: CARLISLE!

If you were an attendee, please let us know what type of decal you want, and we'll get them out to you soon!

Thank you

"I believe that the decal vendors will be offering just the lettering "GMTNation.com" or the actual logo that you see above. We are all still working out the details, but we are hoping to get these out very soon."

Above is the reply I got from Jman423 on the 11th, they should be getting close to finalizing. Fingers crossed, I didn't see a smilie for fingers crossed!

If it's the 31st, I'm pretty sure I can make it for a couple hours (have a bunch of errands that day, rescheduled one to fit this in)... if the 30th, I have to work

I'm trying to track down my set of spring compressors as well (just in case)... They're in one of the boxes I haven't unpacked when I moved last.

Its the 31st, lets just say 9am then people can roll in whenever they can. Who knows how long we'll be there, I usually have to get dragged away after a long long time. Come for however long you can, even if you just drop by for 15min to say hi and take some group pics!

I'm gonna be there for a while too. No sense driving for 2-3 hours without at least staying for lunch. :Lager Louts:Then it has to digest. And if somebody brings any baked goods I may stay overnight!

Whoa this could turn out to be a good sized meet, even bigger than before! When the date is finalized I will try and make it up there.

Also, we should try and convince high voltage to send us some decals so we can put them on at the meet

Yup Im hoping so!

I know the people that attended the first meet are getting some free decals, but for Craig and I (need 2 sets), Id be down to talk with Jeff about getting some decals express shipped to me next week before the meet. Can we get a list of people who want them, just send them all to my house and Ill bring them to the meet. That way each of us doesnt have to pay for shipping. Thoughts?

The early time is a good idea, with it being New Years Eve that place will get real busy, fast.

Yep, get there early for coffee (Bill will be looking for the Starbucks :rotfl:) and then stay for lunch + however long everyone wants/can stay.
