Hi all, been so busy with life, but I can finally be on here again! Envoy is still getting resurrected a little at a time. Trying to work on it with my father and our time schedules having been matching up lately. Crown vic is going up for sale soon because speed addiction is a TERRIBLE THING.....

That being said...I saw a CL600 mercedes for sale from texas for $23,000. I had a prepurchase inspection done and found and was quoted $35,000 additionally to fix it. Long story short, I priced out not getting parts from stealership and doing all my own labor and spent 4K on parts. I used the heavy repair quote to negotiate down to 7900 HAHA.

So I had to say keys..please. (enter whole new level of power...I almost had to change my pants the first time I really drove it)

What kind of repairs did it need that (should have) cost $35,000 to do? And holy crap you stole that thing.

haha ohhh totally stole it. I said give it to me for what you put into it minus 75% of repair bill and I ll take it, the laughed sat on it for a month and then called and wanted it gone.

prices dont include labor costs at stealership ($110/hr)
-literally 8 pages of stored and active fault codes
Bold = needs done still

-New struts (hydraulic) $2100 EACH (I paid 600 with core deposits)
-New coil packs $2000 EACH (I paid $800)
-24 spark plugs ($650) i paid $85
-2 front wheel bearings inner and outer each side $550 Each (I replaced entire hub with new ECS tuned parts $400 total)
-fiberoptic stereo shot $850 I wired my own 7" touch pioneer and ripped out all fiber optics, removed stock amp and stuff and hooked into amp wiring after learning german and pinning it out LOL
-abs/wheel speed sensors front and rear $750 - I paid $200
-went into limp mode at full throttle - throttle position sensor $400 I paid $115 from ECS FIXED LIMP MODE
-leaky conductor plate for transmission - $3000 I paid $150 from ECS but will take a good couple days to do w/o lift
- no headlight ballasts ignitors or lights or retaining clips $3500 I did own HIDs and made own relays for HID, fog, running lights for under $150.
- transmission fluid filter change $250 I paid $75
Oil Change (9 qts!!!!) $225 I paid $100 for filter and 0w-40 mobile one and did that shit myself also!
- serviced turbos $2800 I did it myself
- leaky radiator still needs fixed $1200+ I got hose and radiator from ECS for under $400
-i put radar in, stereo, amps, sub, lighting etc in 1 day. took 2 hours to figure out how to get bumped off though haha

soo my labor alone was going to be $15000 or more . great bargaining chip I must say..thatll scare anyone trying to sell it haha. I could drink beer and stare at it for an hour and by simply taking stereo out save $110 an hour hahahaha
