Hey everyone! Just jumping aboard figured I'd do the standard intro.. I own a 2002 GMC Envoy that I bought with 29k and it's just about to turn 160k. I've been an amazing vehicle for me very minimal problems aside from doing the fan clutch 5 times.. It could use some suspension work right now mostly original and it's spent most of it's life on 20 or 22" rims so they've taken their toll on it. Oh well hope to learn something and offer to help out where I can.

Digging my intro back up.. 2/26/12 I was getting ready to hit 160k and 7/12/12 I hit 167k. Another 7k on the truck and I replaced 1 coil pack and as a gift to myself replaced the AC compressor which the clutch went bad maybe a year ago.. Air is back to ice cold! Still the original engine, trans, computer, alternator, starter, ignition switch, not a single cluster issue, etc. As with any car I own NO maintenence/service other than oil changes. I top off oil/coolant when needed. No greasing, flushes, fluid changes, etc. I know some will cringe but it's what I do with my vehicles and seems to work for me. I'm still surprised the truck has never left me stranded anywhere.. It's been a GREAT vehicle for me and the little repairs I've done have saved me a bunch over the years! On the downside the truck is running a bit hot in this summer heat because the fan clutch is going out, for the 6th time - but can't really complain.
