so the past month i have been lurking on this site and others for ideas etc and finally decided what the heck might as well sign up so im doing so. i just recently purchased a 06 gmc envoy that i have "big" plans for but will slowly happen until my wife graduates from pharmacy school(the legal kind lol).
before the envoy i use to have a 96 chevy s10 fully bagged and modified... she was my first love and was with me for 10 years. the envoy is my second truck ever.

Premature server maintenance misfire? I dunno.

Deleting posts and messing with the data base is what the Vertical Scope Evil Overlords at Trailvoy would do. We don't mess with reality unless a REAL spammer shows up. And that's exceedingly rare, because they not only get deleted, but I hunt them back to their origin (usually) and cause them some pain.

I found the issue - the posts were in some sort of limbo because of a large number of picture links in a post from a new account. Sometimes spammers do this. Can't explain why they showed up and then disappeared, but they showed up for me because I see everything.

I nuked a few spammer's attempts to create accounts and lie about their location ("America" as a location logging in from Bangladesh, for instance.), but there were a few legit posts and new users I let out of the cage just now.

It's cool that we're getting about as many new members a day as when we were younger and recruiting heavily back at Trailvoy.

as far as the voy I have plans for it to look better than the s10.
right now its all small things.

not sure who said they liked the wheels but I don't lol. they came with the truck so using them until tires go bad then I will get new rims for it.

I never seen a voy that color. I think a nice coat of paint or some plasti dip on the wheels would look good. You planning on using the recess in the rear passenger side panel for the sub box build or going with something bigger?

the paint color I really like. I plan on eventually doing a two tone but keeping the color n just adding a color. wheels I want are all chrome. for the sub box I plan on using the rear quarter panel area for now. will get pics up of what I have so far later on.

I believe you have either an aftermarket paint color or it could have been ordered from the factory with a different color not given as an option when they hit the lots. Either way, that thing is sexy! I wonder if someone could run a VIN check to see what the paint code is, I'd be curious to know.

All the color options for Envoy by year...

However GM did have a color that looks just like this called Medium Blue, Paint code WA349D and it was a color option on GM trucks in 2006...the code in the glove box for this color is 23.

The other day I say a TB w/ a similar rare color, it was a light blue metallic.
They were not sure of the actual name of the color, but is was an 06 and said the color was part of the
"sun and Fun"package or other upgrade package that was offered in 06 only.

i think my camera on my phone changed the shade of the blue alittle. i pulled my paint code (u703j) and it is superior blue metallic.... i really want to repaint the truck two tone with a silver and a divider graphic or so in a orange color but add some more metallic flake to the blue.
