Hello everyone. Just replaced the wheel bearing and hub assembly on my 03 TB. Realized my inner tie rods are bad too. Does anyone know the wrench sizes I'll need to remove the jam nut and the rod end to hold it? Thought it was a 22 and 24mm but, not sure.

Damn, I just did this job and I can't fully remember. The jam nut may be 21mm or I may have used a 7/8 wrench. To remove the inner tie rod itself from the rack I used this specialty tool however a pipe wrench should work.

Tie rod to spindle nut = 21mm
Tie rod jam nut = 22mm
Rack end..... somewhere between 24 and 27mm (1" and 1 1/16"). Best to use an adjustable or pipe wrench.
