ok I had the following codes, P0106, P0301, P0128, and P0014, I am just shy of 200k miles. We changed the spark plugs out yesterday and disconnected the battery, now when I turn on the recirculation the engine shutters and then dies when I get to a stop or idle point.

First question is why it would be dying after I change the spark plugs.

Second one is now that the plugs are changed the only two codes that are still coming up are P0106 and P0128. Any suggestions on how to fix these for someone that is not a mechanic.

any help would be great I really don't want to take it to a dealer if I don't have to.

Assuming you put in proper Delco 41-103 plugs, the issue that caused the idle problem was disconnecting the battery. That caused the PCM to lose its learned memory about how to deal with a dirty throttle body and now all you have to do is clean the throttle body and you won't believe the difference. A miracle cure.

P0128 is a thermostat. Frustrating job, but possible for DIYers.
